Calling all Canadian citizens and Canadian permanent residents!

I’m kind of stoked about this contest. Enough that I’m making special time to post about it when I’ve been so lacking in time to write blog posts of late. Sorry for being MIA and neglecting all you wonderful people out there in the dark recesses of the interweb.

Am I submitting to it myself? No.

I do have a vested interest in it. As part of the Membership, Marketing, and Communication committee of the Manitoba Writers’ Guild, I am also on the committee involved in setting up and marketing this contest.

Here’s the quick deets:

  • Submission deadline is March 1, 2023.
  • Entry fee is $20 CAD per entry.
  • 2,500-5,000 words in any fiction genre.
  • Open to Canadian citizens and permanent residents only.
